Caring Friends is a ministry of the Parish extending pastoral outreach through Eucharistic Minister visits to the sick and housebound, both at home and at residential facilities.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered as part of the Sunday 10 am Mass. Children, ages three to eight, are invited to come to the altar, receive a blessing and then gather in the Narthex where they participate in readings and activities specific to their age group. Materials shared during the children’s liturgy are those prepared by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. Children are actively involved in the readings of the day from the Children’s Lectionary, experience the joy of song and the peacefulness of silence and carry with them lessons to be shared with their family.

We are parishioners who love to sing and to lead the congregation in song. We see music as God’s gift to all of us and, in turn, praise God through our melodies. Everyone is welcome. Can’t read music? This is not a barrier to becoming a choir member. We listen, we learn and eventually we get it.
Choir practice: Tuesday nights, 7:00-8:30 pm, in the church. Enter from Caymus Street.
Collectors assist at Mass by accepting monetary donations from the congregation and welcoming attendees as they arrive for Mass. They are also called upon to help gather periodic Mass attendance data. Collectors follow established protocols to assure that funds are handled in in a secure manner.
